Is this within the TOS?

I’ve created an insert card. The card requests the customers to send pictures of their products in use to an email or tag in their social media in exchange for a 50% off discount code on their next order.

I will then manually ask for the review on email/social media.

Is this against amazon tos?

Any advice appreciated

Hi @greeting_cards_gifts

Don’t do it. You need to remember that these are Amazon’s customers. You cannot include anything promoting your business, especially giving them a 50% off offer. To make it worse, you’re steering them away from Amazon’s platform.

If the Fulfillment center finds it, or the customer brings it to their attention, you can get suspended, possibly forever.

No, as @FunkyMonkey says, directing your customers outside of the platform definitely isn’t allowed, review the Prohibited seller activities and actions:

”Any attempt to circumvent the established Amazon sales process or to divert Amazon users to another website or sales process is prohibited. Specifically, any advertisements, marketing messages (special offers) or “calls to action” that lead, prompt or encourage Amazon users to leave the Amazon website are prohibited. Prohibited activities include the following:

  • The use of email intended to divert customers away from the Amazon sales process.
  • The inclusion of hyperlinks, URLs or web addresses within any seller-generated confirmation email messages or any product/listing description fields that are intended to divert customers away from the Amazon sales process.”
