Has anyone else run into something like this recently?

Hello,

I’m hoping to get some insights on a puzzling situation I’ve encountered.

I currently have a product that’s already active in my Amazon store. Out of curiosity, I tried relisting it using its ASIN, just to make sure everything was functioning properly. To my surprise, Amazon now says “Requires approval.”

The reason I ran this test is because, for over a month now, I’ve noticed that nearly every brand I try to list is suddenly gated. I used to be able to list many of these brands without any issues, but now they all seem to require approval.

Could this be a glitch, or is Amazon tightening up brand approvals?

Appreciate any feedback or experiences you can share

Amazon is strict for everyone. Its apparently for everyone affecting everyone differently.

Ahh, many times and I’m sure many others have experienced this too. Today you’re allowed to sell, tomorrow you’re not anymore. As long as you’re allowed to apply for ungating, then go ahead and do it.

Thank you for your response.

But how do you anticipate obtaining approval requests through online arbitrage and retail arbitrage?

Based on the latest information, Amazon does not accept receipts or invoices from retailers, is that correct?
