Do I need to take my own pictures for FBA products?

Hello,

my first time to post here. So, if I send products to Amazon for FBA, I am responsible to take pictures of the items and post them on the seller site?

Amazon’s job is only to store the items, pack and ship?

Please help! Thank you!

Not necessarily. If the products are already in the Amazon Catalog, you would just add your offer to the existing listings. You would not have to add photos.

If you have to create a new listing, you would need to describe the product and upload photos. Those can be stock pictures gathered from the manufacturer and/or wholesale distributor, or taken by you.

  • Using lifestyle images that show how your product is used or who it is for

  • Testing different images and seeing which ones perform better

You can choose to take the pictures yourself or hire a professional photographer, depending on your budget, skills, and equipment. Either way, you should aim for high-quality images that showcase your product and attract customers.

The Catalog contains all the products on Amazon.com.

You can check to see if the product is already listed by using the Add Products function.

Seller Central > Menu > Catalog >

When you get to the Add Products screen, you can search for the product using it’s name, ASIN, or EAN/UPC.
